Comment: Despite a suspiciously late surge in support for Gov. Romney whose tally quadrupled during
the last day of voting, these results ended up looking remarkably similar to overall national polls. There
appear to be four major candidates vying for the lead with voters more or less evenly divided between them.
|
Comment: Compared to a similar poll conducted before the 2004 election, about the only "winner"
is Sen. Edwards who jumped from 0% to 5%. Unfortunately for Democratic hopefuls, an even larger increase in
support came from those indicating "none of the above."

Comment: Although the A330 is larger, the 767 is less expensive and a more direct match for the
KC-135 the Air Force plans to replace. However, it is possible the Air Force may choose to split the
order.
