Accurate records from that conflict are particularly sketchy, but we attempted to assemble as much verifiable
information about the service history of the F-14 in Iran as possible. The
conflicting claims about the kill-to-loss ratio of the F-14 during that
conflict are addressed about three-quarters of the way down the page. The best Western estimates are that the
Tomcat achieved four kills against four or five losses.
